Chunjun is the sword that Ouyezi forged for the King of Yue with copper from Chijin Mountain and tin from Ruoye River, quenched and balanced until the blade seemed to hold light within itself. When the sword appraiser Xue Zhu beheld it, he praised its brilliance and its price: a whole city’s wealth would not buy it.
