Legendary sword of western tribute to King Mu, said to cut jade like mud.

The Kunwu sword was forged from the red copper of Kunwu Mountain, the same metal the Shanhaijing places among the west’s hidden treasures. Presented to King Mu of Zhou by the western tribes, it could cut jade like mud, and wiping the blade on jade only made it sharper. Kunwu became a byword for divine copper and for the swords made from it.
