The Treasure-Dropping Coin belongs to the hermits Xiao Sheng and Cao Bao of Mount Wuyi. A coin with wings, it flies out to knock down any magic treasure cast at its owner — though it cannot stop an ordinary weapon. Xiao Sheng uses it to seize Zhao Gongming’s pearls and rope, only to be struck down by the general’s golden whip.
