The Three Xia’s Yellow River Formation
Stripping the Immortals
To avenge Zhao Gongming, the Three Xia strip the twelve immortals of their powers until the saints come.
To avenge their brother Zhao Gongming, the Three Xia Sisters set the Nine-Bend Yellow River Formation across the Zhou army’s path. With the golden dipper they capture the twelve Chan immortals and strip them of the three flowers of their cultivation, reducing heaven’s generals to ordinary men. The supreme saints Laozi and Yuanshi descend to break the formation, and the sisters fall — to be canonized among the gods they fought.
